Welcome to the eCentreClinic
The eCentreClinic is a specialist research unit and a not-for-profit initiative of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
Our aim is to use technology and innovation to increase access to psychological treatment. We know many people with common mental health and chronic physical health conditions struggle to access effective treatment and support.
We develop and evaluate free online psychological treatment programs for people with common mental health and chronic physical health conditions. We call these programs "courses", and they can be completed from the comfort of your home - without having to attend a face-to-face clinic.
We have developed psychological treatments for people with different types of anxiety and depression, including generalised anxiety and worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessions and compulsions (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms. We have also developed programs to help people manage the impact of significant chronic health conditions such chronic pain, diabetes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, heart disease, lung disease, gastrointestinal disease, chronic kidney disease and a range of other conditions.
We offer FREE access to these treatment programs via participation in clinical trials. We use the results from these trials and the feedback from participants to improve our programs for future participants.
We also collaborate with numerous clinics and research groups to increase access to effective psychological care within their services and their countries.
